story : As the demons slaughter the gods one by one, the commander, Chand and Mund pretend to lose Goddess Lakshmi, they decide to kidnap her.
On seeing the horror, Parvati recalled something Shiva had said earlier before she fell unconscious: "When a woman gives up her shandy (doubt, fear), she becomes 'Shankar' (God, supreme power). And this end will mark a greater beginning. . ” Parvati rushed forward to protect Goddess Lakshmi who tried to defend herself but in vain.
As she ran towards the demons, her rage had gone too far, she calmed herself from all her doubts and fears and transformed herself into Goddess Kali, the warrior.
Parvati, who was white (Gauri), naive, innocent and tamer of Lord Shiva became Mahakali, who had bluish-black skin (Kali), fierce, brave and loved by Shiva. She is armed with a sword, her hair is messy and a devil's wreath is stuck around her neck and a demon's arm apron is around her waist.
As he descended towards the demon army, he killed thousands of demons including Chand and Mund earning the nickname "Chamunda".
He advised the other Goddesses to also give up their laws and learn to fight for themselves. He tells them that whenever a human treats a woman less than anything she deserves, she has all the rights to turn into Kali.
The goddesses Lakshmi, Saraswathi, Narsinghi, Aranyani and Aindri join him in battle to assist him in destroying the demons.
The demon king then sent the famous demon Rakthabija as Mahakali's archenemy. He has the ability to create a clone of himself from every drop of his blood that falls.
Whenever a Goddess attacks him another Rakthabija is born. Kali then traps all the blood seeping out of Rakthabija and completely drains him of his pseudo-nectar, killing him.
First he cut off Rakthabija's head and brought amock on the battlefield, killing everyone who got in his way.
To stop Goddess Kali's rampage, Lord Shiva woke up from his trance and lay down in front of Goddess Kali. She stepped towards him, realizing that she had stepped on her husband (which is a sin in Indian culture) and stuck out her tongue in embarrassment.
Sad, Kali returned to being Parwati. Lord Shiva made her realize that she had done nothing wrong, but Parvati was also troubled by the fact that Kali had to manifest herself and no other woman at the time of need. He realized that there was something more to him than just a housewife.
